DTX Jet 3.0 Printer

The DTXJet 3.0 printing system is built for precision micro-deposition with improved safety, absolute linear encoders, upgraded mechanical drive assemblies, and overall higher build quality. DTXJet 3.0 is available in three standard sizes with multiple fluid options and includes standard remote support.

Precision Micro-Deposition System

This specifically engineered fluid deposition system produces precise, accurate, and repeatable results. The DTX Jet operates at exceptionally high speeds, providing unmatched image output. This proprietary system integrates UV light technology, digital imaging and specifically engineered hardware to accurately control placement of DTX inks.

SPECIFICATIONS:

KONICA MINOLTA KM1800ISHK-DC PRINTHEADS
Dual color printing with 1,776 total nozzles split evenly between two printing channels each printing at 300 DPI natively.

ADVANCED FLUID CONTROL SYSTEM
Robust system utilizing industrial components rated for millions of cycles. Individual vacuum control for each fluid. Easy scalability and service of components.

GLOBAL INKJET SYSTEM PRINT ELECTRONICS BACKBONE
Complete data and printhead drive solution built on proven hardware and software from previous generations, with updated components.

CURING
UV curing with 2x Phoseon FJ100 75×20 8W 395nm LED lamps. Intensity control via analog interface is triggered when over the print. The print intensity can be specified within the print sequence and each lamp can be independently controlled for both printing and non-printing passes.

VACUUM PLATEN
Integrated vacuum platen holds substrates and films flat during printing. The platen is oversized, ensuring the UV light is blocked during the leading and trailing print passes. A regenerative blower is included with the system.

ELECTRONICS AND CONTROL CABINET
Industrial control cabinets containing machine electronics and controls devices. The cabinet includes circuit protection for each device.

SOFTWARE INTERFACE
Intel i9-based computer selected for reliable performance and long service life- GUI-based machine control allows operators to create, manage, import, and export print sequences.

PRECISION 4-AXIS MOTION SYSTEM
Linear motor based X-axis actuator:
• Smooth motion and velocity control for consistent drop placement.
• Precision NSK linear bearings with ‘lube for life’ bearing blocks.
• Oversized linear motor allowing unlimited expected service life.

Indexing Y, Y’ axes with high resolution absolute linear encoders:
• Accurate positioning to achieve highest print quality
• High speeds of up to 800mm/s capable
• Based on robust belt drive from Bell Everman

Controlled Z-Axis via ACME screw with absolute linear encoder:
• Allows adjustment of the printhead height relative to platen
• Minimum adjustment range of 3”
• Absolute linear encoder allows head height to be always known
• Print height can be controlled as part of the print sequence

Expansion possible
• Additional axes of motion available for systems such as automatic head maintenance or other systems developed in the future
